Silk satin and charmeuse is often what comes to mind when you think silk, but silk is a luxurious fiber that can be woven into Satin, Charmeuse, Dupioni, Organza, and Chiffon. Silk is a protein fiber made by silkworms. Raw silk, duioni, and shantung have natural slubs inherent in the fabric.
